Product Description

This elegant, balanced wine has been open vat fermented with wild yeasts and matured for nine months in French oak puncheons. It presents a range of fruit characters, complemented by fine tannins. The savoury spice flavours are characteristic of this vineyard on the southern East Coast. Cellaring for 3-5 years will allow it to show its full potential.

2013 was an excellent vintage for Tasmanian Pinot and the Cape Bernier Pinot Noir 2013 has all the characteristics that lovers of cool climate Tasmanian Pinot will be looking for, you will not be disappointed.

Tasting Notes

Deep hue with some purple tints. The bouquet is very spicy, black and red cherries, nice ripeness; the palate soft and rich, tight and quite elegant. It has fruit sweetness and charm. A graceful pinot
