Visit Us

It’s easy to visit Cape Bernier. We are in Bream Creek only 50 minutes drive from the Salamanca area in Hobart and 30 minutes drive from Hobart Airport. Our vineyard has exceptional views of the stunningly beautiful Marion Bay.

We have a small cellar door set up that is by appointment and we are happy to give you a guided tour of the vineyard and show you where our wines are truly made. If you would like to bring a picnic and have lunch in the vineyard, this is also possible, but again please call in advance to confirm. Otherwise there are some lovely spots to grab a bite to eat close by.

If you are coming to visit us you may also want to see some of the other activities to do in the surrounding area in our Explore Bream Creek section. And you can find us on Google Maps.

We hope to see you soon!

Also failed with Break Creek,as i did not realise that tastings were available at Dunalley….from where we had just been, on return rom the Tasman Peninsula
Anyway,I’ll think about your pack Offer.

Very sorry to hear we missed you on Sunday 21 October! After a very busy week I had a day off and went to MONA for lunch and the afternoon. We are a very small operation and so that’s why we ask intending visitors to call first – if I’m here I’m open, but I can’t be here all the time. Please contact us on your next visit to Tasmania and we can guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

Thanks for feedback on website, we always appreciate feedback. Will will try to incorporate a few more photos of people onto the website in the near future. Someone will have to put down the pruning scissors and pick up a camera.

      Best wishes

    Hi Alistair,
It was good to meet again after so many years at the 50 yr reunion last Nov and I did send you a mail after the devastating fires earlier in the year. No reply so just hope that you survived unscathed yet it would appear likely that Bream Creek would have been affected.
I am meeting with Ian Scott tomorrow and will tell him about you and Cape Bernier. He and I organize a regular lunch meeting twice a year with ’61 leavers.About a dozen fellows have turned up each time all with fascinating tales so we hope that it may grow. Cheers Graham
